I like the idea of a cut outer border... just a little change in size of those squares would be an interesting element.
You got good ideas!
HugsTerrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08927552672720816359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-377824417026124469.post-5414274444453735982014-06-05T05:07:23.651-07:002014-06-05T05:07:23.651-07:00Hi, Sheila, I share the opinion of "Muddling ...Hi, Sheila, I share the opinion of "Muddling Through": I like your way of creating your borders, it emphasizes the form and colors of the houses, so the overall impression appears in harmonie. The different binding-colors of blue and red convey different impressions: the red binding seems friendly and lively while replicating the sashings and the inner borders ... it maintains the colorful appearance of the Quilt ... the blue one keeps silence to the quilt, centres it and hold it in place. I think, it's really important to know the person the quilt would be for ... If it's a child, for example, I would choose the red binding ... Nevertheless, it's a wonderful design and colorchoice, and I like this quilt very much ...
