Salt Air Without Borders

Oh My! I think this is going to be nice! No borders yet. I have enough Salt Air Red yardage for a skinny border. When I sew that on I will be able to decide which Salt Air fabric I want to order for a larger border and backing. Tomorrow is May For Me Bingo, the introduction to a Quilt Along and May's yellow Rainbow Scrap Challenge. Lots to do while waiting for Salt Air fabric :D

  1. I love that you put in the red squares - nice random placement, too. That ain't easy! Way to go, kiddo. (I saw a very different strip quilt with the squares in random spots last week, and thought "I gotta try that!" I'm still working on H2H, but I did finish the PL Open House quilt! (pat pat on my own back)
We had hubby's sis and bil for the weekend, so it's back to the quilting today.
    Hugs!

  3. Great quilt - is that using the 1600 method? I like the added solis square, very interesting.

  4. I've been wanting to try a jelly roll quilt for a while now. I haven't see one before with the spacers, what a nice touch that adds!

  6. The red squares add a nice pattern. I think one of the teal/turquoise colors would be very calming. Fun quilt!
