I finished up week five's tetris block. Had part of a purple game piece from last week to carry over.
I also made up a turquoise pot holder for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. This time I took some pictures showing how I make pot holders. The Missouri Star Quilt Company has a nice YouTube binding tutorial here.
The last picture shows 8 potholders I have made during this year's rainbow scrap challenge.

They look so cheerful all together. Love the fairy fabric.... my daughter would love that.
ReplyDeleteYour tetris block looks great and I love all of the little pot holders!!
ReplyDeleteLove these-they are so summery
ReplyDeleteGreat way to make potholder! I might just have to try that. They look great in rainbow colors.
ReplyDeleteI love how you do the potholders with each color challenge - easy way to have handy gifts.
ReplyDeleteHi Sheila. I'm finally getting caught up on the Tetris posts. Is that a crazy skeleton I see in your "empty" squares. How fun!
ReplyDeleteLove your tut. The potholders are lovely. The Tetris block turned out really cute.
ReplyDeleteSheila! Thank you!!!! I am printing this one to keep next to my sewing machine: need to start on those potholders too... What a great photo tutorial you've made! :)
ReplyDeleteSheila, what batting do you use for potholders? It looks shiny on the photo.
ReplyDeleteFun and happy! Thanks for the inspiration, Sheila. I am so anxious to get back sewing!
