2013 Rainbow Scrap Challenge, April, Green, Week 1

I love the color green. This week I pieced four 8.5" 16 patch blocks and cut some 2.5" squares and 5" tumbles to add to my collections. Yesterday I pieced and posted a picture of my 2013 Hands 2 Help Charity Challenge quilt top. It's a strip "I SPY" quilt top with green fabric background and should count as a green project this month.
To see what others have been creating with their green pieces of fabric this week, go here Saturday morning.

  1. Love all the springy greens! Are you hand template cutting those tumblers or do you have a plastic template for rotary? or Go cutting?

  2. Now that's a garden... growing quilts. I, too, love green. (I do love every color except brown, but even brown has it's place.) Very pretty collection.

  15. Love your pretty spring green 16 patch blocks. Cutting tumblers for a scrap quilt ... what I great idea! I may just have to "borrow" that one. Thanks!
