I love the color green. This week I pieced four 8.5" 16 patch blocks and cut some 2.5" squares and 5" tumbles to add to my collections. Yesterday I pieced and posted a picture of my 2013 Hands 2 Help Charity Challenge quilt top. It's a strip "I SPY" quilt top with green fabric background and should count as a green project this month.
To see what others have been creating with their green pieces of fabric this week, go here Saturday morning.
Love all the springy greens! Are you hand template cutting those tumblers or do you have a plastic template for rotary? or Go cutting?
ReplyDeleteNow that's a garden... growing quilts. I, too, love green. (I do love every color except brown, but even brown has it's place.) Very pretty collection.

Very nice blocks--green is so refreshing after our long Winter days...Julierose
ReplyDeleteGood start on the green blocks -- you really love RSC don't you?
ReplyDeleteI am really, really looking forward to playing in greens this month! I had to do other things today, but I'm diving in soon!
ReplyDeleteOff to a good start on the green, but, hey...where's the green dishcloth? ;-)
ReplyDeleteYour green blocks are bright and cheery.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful greens. I agree with Cathy, are you going to continue with the dishcloths this month?
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun green collection. They are all perfect for spring.
ReplyDeleteOh, how fresh and spring-like! The perfect color to work with on a beautiful Spring day!
ReplyDeleteHappy, happy, happy!
ReplyDeleteVery bright and cheerful - just like spring. So.... is the dish cloth in progress? I figure we'll see a pretty green one sometime this month =).
ReplyDeleteYeah for green! And you have LOTS of pretty greens to sew with. I've never seen an I-spy strip quilt and love yours!
ReplyDeleteYour greens are so perky and bright, I think I need to update mine.
ReplyDeleteLove all the lime green blocks. Your I spy with all the green looks great.
ReplyDeleteLove your pretty spring green 16 patch blocks. Cutting tumblers for a scrap quilt ... what I great idea! I may just have to "borrow" that one. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks also for stopping by my bog and leaving a kind comment ... :) Pat
