After another week of playing with my blue scraps, I'll add four 8.5" blocks, a scrappy house and more 5" tumbles to my collections. LOVE making those spools. I still have a lot of blue scraps. When I look at the two string blocks, I have thoughts of making a scrappy, blue string block quilt one day.
To see what others have made with their blue scraps this week, go here :D
Lovely blue blocks -
ReplyDeleteI love the string blocks. I look forward to seeing how you use these blocks in a quilt.
ReplyDeleteSo many pretty blues. It is easy to make blocks and then picture whole quilts. Think of all the scraps they would use!
ReplyDeleteLovely blocks--you did a lot this week--have a super weekend! Julierose
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blue blocks! Love the variety you are creating.
ReplyDeleteLove your strings! I can see a whole quilt of those blocks. And you've made some other fun blocks, too. Love the spool. You go Girl!

I like the fact you have managed to stick to the challenge and use mostly bright or sapphire blues - well done!
ReplyDeleteLove the variety. I saved my blue strings for a quilt all their own too.
ReplyDeleteSheila, once again such a pretty picture. So many lovely blue blocks, electric colour!
ReplyDeleteSuch different blocks. I look forward to the end of the year to see what you do with all of them!
ReplyDeleteLots of scrappy goodness! I have a blue string block project underway as well but haven't worked on making the blocks in such a long time.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how making scrappy blocks give us lots of ideas for more scrappy quilts to make?!?!
ReplyDeleteLovely blues.
ReplyDeleteI really do like that heart pattern. It catches my eye every time!
