After another week of playing with red scraps, I'll add two 8.5" blocks and two guy friendly pot holders to my collections. A knitted dishcloth made it into the picture. Unfortunately I misplaced the label, but I love this yarn.
To see what others made with their red scraps, go here Saturday morning. We have one more week to play with red scraps. I love red and was glad Angela chose a 5 Saturday month for this color.
There is barn number 10 in Lori's Bee In My Bonnet "Quilty Barn Along". Two barns left to piece. My California friend, Terri, sent me some cat fabric to use when piecing the barns. I think barns 10, 11, 12 will be full of barn cats : )

Those barns are going to look so good !!
ReplyDeleteAre those kitties on the end of the barn? Love it!
ReplyDelete(I remember my grandpa squirting milk at the kitties while he was milking. He did have milking machines, but some of the older cows still didn't trust them, so he milked them by hand.)
Hugs
You always wake me up to the rainbow - pulled my reds to play with. I love the barn kitties.
ReplyDeleteLove those reds! And the cats are just too cute.
ReplyDeleteCats in the barn block, too cute!
ReplyDeleteOh I love it - barn cats!!! This is going to be an amazing quilt when you are done :*) As usual, your red projects are fun and interesting... love the "guy friendly" hot pads :*)
ReplyDeleteI love to see the kitty in the barn. Great reds.
ReplyDeleteI look forward each week to seeing what colored block collections you come up with. It is impressive that you manage to keep finding such a variety of projects.
ReplyDeleteGreat red barn, love the cats in the barns too.
ReplyDeleteThe men around here would love the man friendly pot holders, what a great idea. I'm glad there's another Saturday, I need to catch up.
ReplyDeleteThe barn looks great. I think kitties in your barns will be perfect. The Star Wars potholders are definitely guy friendly. My son would love them.
ReplyDeleteLove the barn cats..... especially since I got mine from a barn. Had to grab Sophie quickly before a cow stepped on her. She was tiny once! Your red blocks are great. I need to find my needles... I got a little yarn from walmart for a dish cloth. Less $ but it feels like a lot less yarn.....
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Nice touch to add the animals too.
