2014 RSC June, Yellow Week 3 and Wishes Sew Along May and June Blocks

After a week of playing with yellow I'll add four 8.5" string blocks, four 5.5" cocoa mug blocks, and a 6.5" midget block to my collections. A green and yellow cotton knitted dishcloth made it into the picture. To see what others made with their yellow scraps, go here Saturday.

I'm participating in Fat Quarter shop's Wishes Sew Along. Pictured are May and June blocks. It's not to late to sew along. The blocks are not to difficult to make because the directions are excellent.

  4. String blocks are always such nice surprises. Love the cocoa mugs - wouldn't they make neat mug rugs. I'll have to chase down a pattern for them and see how that would work.

  6. I like your yellow cocoa cups. The stringy squares are a good idea for using scraps. I must remember that one.
