2016 RSC March Purple and Yellow Week 1


This was a good RSC week because I got to play with purple and yellow. I'll add six 16 patch blocks to my collection.


I'll also add four super scrappy pot holders, a 25-patch star blocks and a 36-patch block to my collections.


And finally, a doll quilt made with one hundred 2" squares. The inner border is 1.5" strips of light purple and the outer border is a 2.5" purple print. It's quilter with a loose free motion meander and finished at 21" square. To see what others made with purple and yellow go here Saturday morning.

    Purple and yellow....one of my favorite combinations. I have 4 quilts in that combination and have a bunch of blocks made that haven't turned into a quilt yet. You have some great purples.

    Another sweet little quilt! I also like how you combined the string blocks with the 16 patch. I might have to try that idea.

    A great collection of purples. I love the little black cats, too. The doll quilt would win the heart of any little girl, or big girls like us.

    That's a lot of fabulous purple you have there! Love the ones with yellow especially - it's such a great pairing. :) The doll quilt is too cute, too.
