This week I used black, white and gray fabric scraps to make a pot holder for my Christmas pot holder gift collection. Also a Happy Scrap House and a 4 patch. I'm enjoying November.
Beth is hosting a neighborhood house block party. She is also collecting house blocks and orphan blocks to make some charity quilts. I'm sending these 12 1/2" house blocks for her charity quilts. If you would like to join the fun, help her with a charity house block or orphan blocks, go here for information.

Hi Sheila, you have done a bit of work here while I was away. I am amazed, my friend! Love those cabins: simple yet very romantic... :)
ReplyDeleteCute houses!
ReplyDeleteYour blocks look lovely, I especially like the pot holder. You will have a lovely collection
ReplyDeleteI like the fabrics in your black and grey blocks - love the little houses and thanks for the charity house link.

ReplyDeleteLove your house blocks, that blue sky with the black house looks great.
ReplyDeleteYour rainbow challenge blocks are so pretty this month. Those bright and happy houses are just so sweet though! Adorable.
ReplyDeleteI like the potholder holiday idea! The black/gray house with blue sky--one of my high school teachers lived in a dark gray house with black shutters--and the sky is usually blue here--made me think of her.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the challenge blocks this month.
ReplyDeleteAnd such happy looking homes you are sending to Beth!
I really like your house with the blue sky - very vivid! Looks like you had fun with black/gray!
