After a fourth week of playing with green scraps and yarn, I'll add four 8.5" blocks and a scrappy pot holder/hot pad to my collections. Knitted a green dishcloth out of a Sugar'n Creme cotton yarn called Mod Green, too. I have more green scraps to play with next year. To see what other's made with their green scraps, go here Saturday morning : )
Great green projects.
ReplyDeleteLove watching you play!
ReplyDeleteDitto what Lynne said!
ReplyDeleteLook at you go... and it's only Thursday. Impressive.
Your kitty block is darling. Is there a patt?
Lovely greens....that is one color I seem to be lacking in my scraps. Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteYou are so creative with your blocks. Love the kitty cat. The heart is darling too. I can't believe the month is almost done and I still have not really 'played'. I still have a few days into next week.... right?
ReplyDeleteMore green! I love it. The kitty is wonderful... looks paper pieced. I wonder what the color will be for May.

Have loved all your kitty blocks this month...especially like the kitty and the spool block, this week. At first glance, the 'thread' on the spool looks like a landscape with a star in the sky. Love it! Green is one of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteLove your blocks, Sheila.....especially the cat
ReplyDeleteYour green blocks and knitting look great! I think I need some new dishcloths after admiring yours the last few weeks.
ReplyDeleteI love your blocks especially the cat.
ReplyDeleteIt made me smile to read that you are already looking forward to using more scraps in the challenge next year. I've been thinking the same thing. I may steal your idea of making house blocks next year.
ReplyDeleteYou have lots of great looking green scrappy blocks.
ReplyDeleteAll your blocks look wonderful, but I especially love the dotty kitty! And the Mod Green dishcloth!
ReplyDeleteSuch bright and pretty blocks.
ReplyDeleteLove the variety of green blocks! Well done!
ReplyDeleteYep, I have more green scraps left for next year too! I would have loved to have cleaned them out, but it just didn't happen. Maybe next year. Love the bright greens in your blocks and love, love, love your Mod Green dishcloth :*)
ReplyDeleteLove your green. I have been catching up on your blogs. You have been a busy gal. You sewing machine must be smoking? Love your barn block.

ReplyDeleteWhat fun, bright greens these are! Scrappy blocks are the best, aren't they?!? :)
ReplyDeleteCute blocks Sheila and what a variety!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Green:) I wanted to thank you for praying for my family during my Dad's sickness and death. He was ready for Heaven as we heard chimes ring after his death. I hope and pray they find a cure for Cancer as it's a sad thing for any person to go through family included. Thank you for being my Blogger friend and keeping up with me while I've been out all these months taking care of him. You are a true Blogger friend.
