Blocks 7 and 8 of Bea's Sampler Quilt Along. I'm using Stitch In Color scraps and yardage for the guy friendly quilt. They are 12.5" blocks.
July and August blocks for Sewingly Yours' Flower BOM. One is a Pansy and other is an Aster. They are 12.5" blocks, too.
This quilt was made with our guild's Ebenezer quilt pattern for a 48"x 60" quilt. It's made with fabrics from my stash and quilted with loose meandering stitches.
And the backing was from stash, too. I think it's a young guy friendly quilt. Feels good to have a finish.
Congratulations on another great finish.. definitely boy-worthy!
ReplyDeleteLove the blocks... is that a pineapple block on the top row? I'm starting to get fascinated with them for some reason and you're using great fabrics...
Love your blocks and finish! I, too, have a pineapple on my bucket list. Love the Pansy, your colors are so rich! Way to go!

Great quilt - perfect for a young man! And your blocks look great, too. I have never made a pineapple block. Are they difficult?
ReplyDeleteLooks great :-)
ReplyDeleteNicely done!
ReplyDeleteSuper blocks. Your colors are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt. I think any boy would be thrilled to have it! Nice.
I love the Star Wars quilt. The pattern is interesting when made this way! Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteFabulous blocks. I'm absolutely loving the spotty fabrics! Nice Star Wars quilt, simple patterns are often the most effective.
ReplyDeleteNeat-O! I really like your flower blocks, but then, they are all pretty! Great finish, too. Hurrah!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great finish. You blocks looks great. I am really loving the pansy. Is it paper pieced?
