Two batiks I bought on sale, Dreamscape Subterranean and Dreamscape Carnival, are used in this quilt's pieced center. A third batik from the Dreamscape collection, a light green batik called Dreamscape Fire Opal, is pictured below the pieced center. Beside the light green is a dark green batik from my stash fabric and what I have left of the two Dreamscape batiks used so far.
The QAL Sliced Apples quilt pattern has a small inner border, a small pieced second border and a wider outer border. I think I will use the light green Fire Opal for the small inner border, the Subterranean and Carnival in the pieced second border, and the dark green batik for the wider outer border. I'm undecided about the binding.
May we all have a safe Memorial Day as we honor our veterans and soldiers.

Good job!
Hugs!
Beautiful! The colorway alone is striking enough but the piecing and design elements are so lovely! I'll come back to see it when it's done!
wow you have a lot done on this quilt. I just love the fabric.
