Sliced DICED APPLES Quilt Top

I've been busy making Star Wars and Marvel's Avengers pillowcases for grandchildren. I forgot to take pictures, but I thought they turned out nice.
The DICED APPLES quilt top finished at 51" x 62 1/2". I omitted the pieced second border described in the instructions. The skinny inner border is a light lime/yellow batik. When you look closely, you see leaves. In the lower left corner is a piece of Dreamscape Carnival fabric that is being auditioned as a possible binding choice. I love apples and the fabrics in this quilt makes me think of the outdoors and apples. I hope to finish this quilt next week and see how it looks hanging on the wall in my home. Pictures of the finished quilt will be taken outdoors.

I really love this piece! I think your border tratment works - the other would take away from that lovely center.

Mmmm...beautiful. I really, really like the binding choice, too.

I like the binding choice. It carries the center colors out to the edge for good balance.
