Each month I have made three blocks similar to the blue ones in the picture. First red, then green, pink, neutral, yellow, purple and now blue. And each month I've set aside some 2 1/2" wide "width of fabric" strips for a jelly roll race quilt in December.
July is blue color month and I so far I have used only my blue scraps and stash fabrics. Not AQUA blue. I think I may call next Saturday, the last Saturday of this month, AQUA blue Saturday. I don't have a lot of aqua blue fabrics and scraps, but I might be able to make an aqua blue house block and potholder.

I like how you are making the different blocks and saving some of the strips - the rainbow JR quilt is going to be so fun. I have tons of blue, but aqua blue, hmmmmm, not much.
The dark blue border really frames your blocks nicely and ties them all together.
Blue Beauties. I'm so glad I started up with the rainbow challenge... it's your influence, you know. Your blocks contributed to my delinquency. Thank You!

Great selection of blue blocks, will make a nice scrap quilt.
I like your blue scrap blocks. I was thinking you were doing a fan block at first look but it is just your strips laying out.
These are so cool! You are going to have a fantastic quilt or two or three at year end!
What is a jelly roll race quilt? Sounds intriguing!
Very cute blue blocks. I know you have you have been making jelly roll strips but what is a JR race quilt? The tetris block in the previous post is great. I remember that game well.
So nice!!! I'm also going to make aqua pineapples as a separate color :-)
Hi Sheila... I'm just hopping around blogs and came across you... love these different blocks you have made with your strips...
