Quilt Story Lucky Star Quilt-A-Long, Squares and Patch Blocks

It took me awhile to decide upon the 2.5 yards of background fabric needed for this quilt. Now I'm play catch up as this quilt a-long started in June. The Eight "Square Blocks" are finished. Nine "Patch Blocks", that's half of the eighteen I need are finished. I'll make some "Star Blocks" today. Most of this quilt will be made with scraps and fabric from my stash.
A closeup of one of the 10.5" square blocks showing the quilt's blue background fabric.

There's a pretty blue! Good choice. It goes very well with your blocks. Can't wait to see how this comes out.

Very pretty blue background. It looks lovely with all the nice and bright scrappy colors in your blocks.
