2015 RSC May Green Week 1 and I WON!

I have a lot of green crumbs, strings and scraps. This is going to be a good month because I love green. After playing with my scraps I'll add three 8.5" green blocks to my collection. The two 8.5" crumb blocks will become a pot holder this week. A couple cotton knitted dishcloths made it into the picture. I've made some progress cutting my green scraps into usable units. To see what others made with their green scraps, go here Saturday morning.

Stacey at Driving Miss Stacey had a drawing for a bag of colorful scraps and a pattern for a pieced tulip. Lucky me! I WON! I've already started cutting up those scraps into usable units!

What fun. Those scraps look like they are just perfect for you. Bright and happy -- just like your blocks this week.

Oh, man!!! I wanted to WIN those scraps!!! LOL That's OK, I didn't really NEED more fabric, anyway.

Congratulations on the scrap bag AND all of your lovely GREEN blocks for the RSC.

So much green already done! Atta Girl!
I started a butterfly, but alas, I used a light colored green. Nothing to show.

Love those crumb blocks. They are full of life because of your talent for mixing in little bits of contrast.

Pretty greens!! No sewing for me this weekend. I worked on straightening my sewing room. I still have a lot more straightening to do, but it is getting better. Hooray for a win!
