2018 RSC September Blue Week 4, Blue Blocks, 36-Patch Quilt Finish, String Baby Quilt Finish

This is the last week of September's RSC blue scraps. Pictured are some pretty blue blocks. Love, love, love blue. To see what others made with blue scraps, go here Saturday morning.

I pulled 16 string blocks from last year's RSC collection and made a charity baby quilt. I donated it during our monthly quilt guild meeting last week. It was about 41" square.

Next I pulled the 36-patch blocks made during this RSC year and make a throw quilt. After a go in the washer and dryer it finished at 51" x 62".

Some fabulous blue blocks added. Your two quilts are wonderful, colorful and well done using up those scraps.

Yummy blue blocks. I love your RSC quilts, too. There's lots of work in all that treasure.

I love the blue blocks! I'm ready to get back to my blues! Your two completed quilts are both so pretty! Slow and steady really does win the race, doesn't it! Good work on all!

Your blocks and quilts for this year are so pretty! Of course, since I’ve been all about strings this year, I’m drawn to your baby quilt. The blocks look great with the pink sashes, which is funny to me since I rejected the pink in one of my quilts. String blocks are just so happy!
