2013 RSC May, Blue, Week 2 and Knitted Dishcloths

Another week of blue scrappy fun. I'm adding four 8.5" blocks, some 5" tumblers and some 2.5" squares to my collections. I have LOTS of blue scraps remaining in the box.
The Rainbow Scrap Challenge is a good way to use some of those scraps that accumulate all year when you piece other projects. I don't think it's ever too late in the year to jump in and play along with us.  To see what others made with their blue scraps this week, go here Saturday morning.

Because I was away form home a few day this week, I had the opportunity to knit four cotton dishcloths. I used Purple BERNET, Natural Stripes Sugar'n Cream, Chocolate Ombre Sugar'n Cream, and Light Blue Sugar'n Cream.

Such pretty blues! I just found a bin of blue... I'm going to steal your block idea and use some of them up!

Knitting is easier to cart around... no sewing machine necessary. Love your blues!

Your blue fabrics are fab! Isn't it interesting the different patterns that come out of a ball of wool?

Lots of pretty blues there, what do you plan on doing with the rainbow of tumblers that you are cutting? I'm cutting tumblers as well, not sure if I'll just try something scrappy or put them in a Rainbow arrangement.

Looks like you have a nice assortment of blue novelty scraps. I don't have many of those, so I'll enjoy yours! I went looking through my yarn stash for blue cotton and couldn't find it -boo! Might have to make a trip to Michael's!
