Year before last I won the Grand Prize drawing in Melissa of
Happy Quilting's Tetris Sew Along Challenge. With that gift certificate from
Intrepid Threads I got some lovely
Amy Butler prints. I'm using those fabrics and some black on white prints for background to make my quilt in the Goodnight Irene Sew Along hosted by Terry of
Terry's Treasures. Pictured are the first two rows.
And here is a close up. (Sorry. Night pictures.) Because I want to make my quilt to fit a twin bed, I'll make at least 10 blocks each month.

This is so cool! Great use of Amy Butler fabrics and I just love the b/w background.
Very nice - it looks a lot like the Arkansas Crossroads block. Love it!
The white with black is perfect with those prints.
OMGosh! I love it...especially the black & white print. Seeing yours makes me excited about seeing the completed top.
Marvelous! Do you have a good source and/or designer for your b&w prints?
OMG! I love the white print fabric you chose for your quilt. It's going to be a gorgeous quilt.
Yessss! You are making kisses, too. (Only you are doing it the smart way!) Love the variety of the prints - both the colored and b&w. Beautiful.
Hugs
