Hope you are far enough inland at home, too. This sounds bad. Even New York state has been declared a Nat'l State of Emergency for the weekend.
Glad you're home safely... Myrtle Beach will be there when Irene goes away...
Glad you headed home early....all the state parks east of I-95 will be closed as of 5PM today....glad to be in the mountains...!!Enjoy
