It took a couple of weekends, but Tori finished a square pillow and a doll blanket. She knew what she wanted to make, the size and the fabric combinations. Most of the time she pressed the foot pedal to make the machine go as I helped her guide the fabric under the needle. When she went home today, she carried her horse Quick Strippie, her square pillow and a doll blanket. She was very happy :)

How nice that Tori has you to guide her thru sewing mysteries and provide the joys of making things for herself!
A nice memory for you both! I remember my grandma helping me learn to sew muslin pajamas. (That's over half a century ago!) (She did any of the ripping out. Unsewing always reminds me of her.)
