2012 Rainbow Challenge 16 and 4 Patch Block Quilt Top

After squaring up 48 scrappy 16 patch and 4 patch rainbow blocks, I sewed them together to make a 46 1/2" x 62 1/2" quilt top. I'm not sure if I'll add a border because it might already be a good size for a child.
I enjoyed making these blocks each month.
To see what others have been doing with their rainbow blocks, go here Saturday morning.
Also, I have noticed "Friday night sew ins" in "quilting blogland."  Sounds like fun, something I would like to do one or two Friday evenings a month.

Super quilt. It's another winner. Love the color. Great idea to put the 4 and 16 together.

So pretty. Love the rainbow colors. Seeing all the finished quilts come together might just be the best part of the rainbow scrap challenge.

How pretty! I like it. There is just something so "honest" about squares, isn't there? :)

Great kids quilt. I am in love with little square these days. I sewed last night, Friday. I watch Quilt cam with Bonnie Hunter. I think Friday nights is one night I mostly sew.

Your blocks look terrific all together! The play between light and dark gives the feeling of an Impressionist painting.

I love how that quilt came out! Great idea to put 4 and 16 patches together. Someone will be very lucky to snuggle under this one.
