Hannah and Tori bought a yard of blue flannel and a yard of Pooh themed cotton at Walmart. They washed and dried the fabrics before trimming the edges. Tori pinned the right sides together and Hannah sewed around the edges leaving an opening. Then she pulled the fabrics right side out through the opening. After a good press, Hannah sewed a decorative zig zag around the edges with a colorful variegated thread. It's ready for Tori to wrap and take to the baby shower.

Wow! What a cute baby blanket! Love that zigzap trim!
Love how they picked the fabric, prepped, and then shared the sewing process. And that they made it as a gift for someone is a plus.
You are having too much fun!!
I remember the kitchen towels (fabric painted) I got from my much younger cousins (I had babysat, they were that much younger.) for my wedding. Handmade, especially by the younger set, is so sweet, and more meaningful... you know kids have better things to do. I'm really proud of your grands!
Hugs to you (for their inspiration,) and to them!
What a great project and what a sense of pride they must have had when they finished that project. It's just adorable!!
Sheila, I love this fabric, it is very cute, and umbrellas makes it even cutter :)
