Yesterday and today I sashed my barns and added a border. The binding will be red. I must pick a backing and decide if I will quilt it with wavy lines or with diagonal lines in a thatch pattern. This is going to be a UFO for awhile.
Someone ask about the border of my Bungle Jungle baby quilt. Above is a closeup. The name of the fabric? "It's Elementary!" Yes, with an exclamation point.

Oh, just love your barn quilt! Perfect sashing and border treatment - yes, a red binding will be a lovely final framing. With all the tiny pieces and seams - a meander might make for easier quilting.
I like all of the little extras you added on the barns. It turned out good, great sashing choice. With the high contrast between the barns and background it will be hard to decide on a thread color and quilting pattern.
Oh, Sheila, it turned out so pretty! I love it.
Love your barn quilt; it's been fun seeing all the different barns "come to life" and now they are all together. Well done.
Your barn quilt looks great. Mine is waiting for the outer boarder. I just can not decide.

Love, love, LOVE your barn quilt! It's gorgeous... ya done good!
The barns look fantastic all together.
Love the barns! You sure know how to pick the QALongs! (How about red bandana fabric for the backing? It'd go with the farm theme, and the binding.)
(How did I miss this post? I almost missed the next Thursday, as well. Found that one because I saw it on the Rainbow Challenge. I've gotta figure out what is going on with my reader. I don't want to miss any of your posts!)
