2018 RSC August Orange, RSC Fun With Crayons Quilt Finish
A finish this week! I'm calling it "Fun With Crayons." I made the scrappy 5" wide string crayons last year. Here they are sashed with 2" Kona White strips. I added 5" string blocks on the left. The block patterns for the five 12.5" blocks on the right are from Lori Holt's Farm Girl Vintage book. The inner yellow border was 1.5" wide strips. The turquoise outer border was 5" wide. The binding is pieced with 10" strips in rainbow color order. It's quilted with a loose free motion meander and finished at 68" x 84".

Love the quilt!
Lovely quilt, Sheila. It really celebrates crayons. Love the colored pictures on the side, and the diagonals on the other. Someone who loves color is going to love this one. Thanks for sharing it with us.
