2013 RSC, August, Red, Week 1

The Rainbow Scrap Challenge August color is red. I love red and use a lot of red themed fabrics in my quilts. After week one I'll add five 8.5" blocks, one potholder, some 5" tumblers, some 2.5" squares and a knitted dishcloth to my collections.
To see what others made with their red scraps this week, go here Saturday morning.

Gosh you are fast ! I haven't even started to think about it yet. My doll quilt swap has first priority.

Wow! Such pretty patriotic red prints.
I'm cheating and will show some of my peels I cut out and worked on last month. I still have some to go.

Wow, did you just get the word that the color was RED yesterday? As usual your blocks are wonderful. I barely have any red in my scraps or my stash.
