This UFO is finished. I'm happy : )
It's big and heavy, about 94"x 94". I used Bonnie Hunter's Easy Street quilt pattern.
So much rain and wet weather prevents me from taking it outside for a good picture.
The backing is pieced with large strips of gray, white and black fabrics left from making the quilt top. Not my usual choice of colors, but these fabrics work nicely with this quilt top. Ties it all together.
Using my domestic sewing machine, I quilted it all over with a meandering pattern.
I couldn't decide what to do about the binding so I went for my "last resort" binding choice, a white and black print.
This quilt will be entered in a local quilt show in September.
