When my mind is busy with family issues, sewing strips of fabric on pages of phone book paper is the ticket. I'm happy to have finished a Turquoise String Block Quilt this month. After a go in the washer and dryer it finished at about 55" x 75".
Each of the foundation phone book pages are cut to 7.75" x 7.75".

I know most people find sewing relaxing but if I am worried about something or stressed I just cannot sew. Your string quilts are always beautiful and this one is no exception!!! (((Hugs))) to you my friend!
Another wonderful, colorful string quilt. Gentle hugs my girl - stay strong.
It is beautiful. Another bright and happy string quilt.
String quilts are the PERFECT thing for me to sew on when feeling stressed or out of sorts. What size foundations did you cut? This is a perfect donation size!
It is gorgeous, Sheila! I want to make a string quilt again. I'm just not ready for the mess yet. ;)
Very cool job. I started my very first string blocks on phone book papers too. I have to do something with my scraps.
Congrats on another fabulous RSC finish!!!
Great Job, Sheila. Love the colors, as always, it is a very cheery quilt.
Hugs
